The Contract Value Board

Every contract the Mariners have signed or taken on since Jerry Dipoto took over in September 2015, judged by what Seattle paid against the market value of the wins it got back.

  • Every free-agent signing, extension and contract taken on by trade
  • Season by season: salary, what Seattle actually paid, and the fWAR it got
  • Graded against what MLB teams paid per win that season
  • Compared with similar deals around the league, and with all 30 teams' free-agent spending
  • Filter by Pre-, Mid- and Post-Rebuild eras, or just the contracts still running
